Loan Documentation Manager

Position: Loan Documentation Manager

Department: Loan Documentation

Reports To: Chief Lending Officer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential issues, inconsistencies, errors and defaults discovered during the review process that may impact ability to fund; and effectively communicate identified issues with appropriate managers.
  • Maintain daily workflow prioritization to ensure loans on target closing list are being worked accordingly
  • Follow loan through the funding process
  • Assist Loan Documentation Assistants and Business Banking Assistants with issues/questions regarding loan processing as well as systems (e.g. LaserPro)
  • Provide direction to Loan Documentation Assistants on documentation requests to ensure the documents are prepared correctly and comply with regulatory requirements as well as Bank policies and procedures
  • Interact with Loan Operations and Business Bankers to identify and clarify any issues regarding required documentation
  • Prepare loan documents for all types of loans including commercial, construction, modifications and renewals while meeting closing deadlines
  • Ensure the loan package(s) comply with the credit approval and follows loan policy before the package(s) leave the department
  • Assist with training Loan Documentation Team as new regulatory requirements are implemented
  • Flexible work hours as work load requires
  • Maintain a cooperative and professional manner with internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of banking operations, credit and loan documentation
  • Thorough understanding of banking policies and procedures
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate between departments, as well as carry out instructions and instruct others
  • Ability to motivate and direct employees to the desired outcome
  • Knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan products and processing
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who can think strategically, operate independently and take accountability for the function
  • Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial lending experience with strong operations background required

Loan Operations Specialist

Reports To: Loan Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete loan booking of all new loans, renewals and modifications into the loan system
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of collateral, accurately and timely recording documentation, and reviewing all post-closing records while adhering to all Bank and Department policies and procedures
  • Record and issue checks for payments of third parties and/or vendors
  • Ensure modifications, including address changes, rate changes, collateral changes, etc. are processed accurately to maintain optimum data integrity
  • Process loan payments when received
  • Prepare and process payoff statements and discharge documents
  • Review daily servicing system reports of loan account maintenance to ensure compliance with Bank policy and loan documentation
  • Complete monthly doc stamp SBA 1502 reporting
  • Create and maintain escrow information. Distribute escrow funds as required
  • Scan and file loan documents into image system
  • Performs other duties as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Float Teller

Reports To: Branch Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level of client service to all clients and guests entering the bank or the drive-thru resulting in a positive banking experience
  • Contribute to deposit growth by cross selling bank products and services as they would fit new and existing customer needs
  • Stay knowledgeable of all products and services provided by the bank
  • Assist clients and walk-ins by efficiently and accurately processing teller transactions including but limited to:
    • Checking and savings deposits and withdrawals
    • Check cashing
    • Issuing money orders and cashier's checks
    • Accept loan payments
    • Maintain an organized teller line and work area as well as balance teller drawer daily
    • Answer calls to the branch
    • Maintain client confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential
    • Performs other duties as needed

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • This job has no supervisory responsibilities

    Requirements:

    • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in decision making while following all bank policies and procedures
    • Comfortable working in an environment to help clients by fulfilling their banking/financial needs by cross-selling products and services
    • Strong communication skills (including verbal and non-verbal) and active listening skills
    • Excellent client/client focus while providing high level of service to clients to meet their banking needs and create a positive experience with every visit
    • Comfortable asking clients about personal finances

    • Ability to work with money tranactions with high degree of accuracy
