Where can I find my routing and account number
Knowing the difference between your routing and account numbers is useful for setting up direct account payments, paying online bills, making wire transfers, and even setting up certain recurring third-party withdrawals from your bank account. Discover the differences between routing numbers, account numbers and check numbers below.

The routing number for checking accounts is printed on checks. It’s the 9-digit number on the bottom, located on the far left.
There are a few ways you can find your account number.
- Look at a check. Your account number is specific to your personal account. It's the second set of numbers printed on the bottom of your checks, just to the right of the bank routing number.
- Sign into online banking. By downloading an account's transactions, you can view the account number.
- Look at your paper statement.
Your check number will be the last set of numbers on your check. Check numbers are used to track and identify the checks you have written from your account.
