    The First Citrus Bank Personal Interest Checking account offers the convenience of unlimited check writing, with the additional benefit of earning interest.

    • Rate Information: Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive the credit for the deposit of non-cash items. Interest will be compounded daily, and credited to the account monthly. The interest rate is subject to change. Balance Information: We will use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on the account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. The customer must maintain a minimum daily collected balance of $1,500 to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.

  • With a daily balance of $300 - No maintenance fee
  • $3.00 monthly maintenance fee, if applicable

  • Additional withdrawals just $2.00 each

  • $14.00 maintenance fee per statement cycle, if applicable

  • 6 transfers or 6 checks to a third party allowed per statement cycle (or a combination of both), per Federal Regulations
  • Additional withdrawals or checks just $5.00 each Interest bearing and compounded for these daily balances:
  • Tier I - $2,500 - $9,999.99
  • Tier II - $10,000 - $49,999.99
  • Tier III - $50,000 and up

Interest rates vary according to term, and interest can be paid monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or at maturity - it's your choice! Interest may be reinvested, deposited to another account, or paid by check. CDs are subject to a penalty for early withdrawal.
