Business Banker

• Independently manage an existing loan portfolio including maturities and collections as
  assigned
• Anticipate Team Leader's needs in managing client relationships
• Develop new business banking relationships
• Proactively review credit and documentation files of existing loans and scrub for completeness
• Drive the renewal/review process for matured loans and loans with annual reviews
• Communicate with clients to proactively collect current and complete financial packages for renewals and new loan requests
• Communicate directly with clients to gather relevant pending/updated financial
  information
• Work independently in addressing client inquiries and requests
• Track required convenants and communicate with clients to gather required information
• Accompany Team Leader on customer calls as needed
• Make presentation to appropriate Loan Committee as requested
• Work closely with administrative assistant to coordinate new/renewal closing process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Work with and support Loan Operations Dept to ensure clients are properly serviced, loans are booked in accordance with policy and document tracking items are received
• Assist Team Leader in managing past dues loans and collecting
• Provide all necessary underwriting

• Minimum of 7 yrs prior banking experience
• Minimum of 3 yrs prior credit underwriting experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Sound critical thinking and analytical skills
• Cogent communication skills, including speaking/presenting to a committee
• Ability to read, comprehend, and spread business financial statements
• Detail orient with strong organization skills
